I just bought my registration and plane tickets for the 2009 conference in Phoenix, AZ!
Basically, it's a comic convention, but with ceramic art and pottery. The people will be just as enthusiastic and zany as those who dress up like Storm Troopers.
This is my first conference, and I'm so excited to use this as both a learning and a social experience; after all, artists from all around the United States will be attending, and things new and different will be seen.
I hope I can grow from this, and use what I come away with it in my teaching in some way.

This blog is a requirement for my Curriculum and Instruction 306 course at the University of Montana. Throughout the semester I will be posting assignments as well as perhaps posting a few blogs on random subjects, and observations. I hope to be able to use this service to communicate with my classes in the future, posting syllabuses, assignments and other useful information, rather than limiting them to hard copy contact.
